It happens that a sensor, after a period of time, may start showing some more stubborn or seemingly permanent hot pixels, even in images shot at short exposure times. This happened for one of my cameras after it had captured around 15000 images. Webb25 sep. 2024 · My 533MC has lots of hot pixels, too, and the only way to remove them in pre-processing (at this time, at least) using ASiair Plus is dark frames. Darks are, of course, a piece of cake with a cooled camera. I only have two sets: I only have these two sets for unity gain (100). Turn the camera on and go to the settings menu. Select sensor cleaning and then select manual sensor cleaning. This will open the mirror and remap the sensor.
