Web8 dec. 2016 · Active Jeeper. Dec 7, 2016. #1. I just completed my Howell TBI upgrade on my 83 CJ-7 AMC 258 ci with Duraspark ignition and Juice Pack dizzy cap/coil/plug wire upgrade. The problem is that apparently I have no tach signal coming from the negative side of the E-Core ignition coil to tell the electric fuel pump to pump while cranking the engine. WebThe 360 would need a larger injector than the 304 kit. Chevy uses 2 TBI units for their small blocks, one for the 305 and one for the 350 and 4.3L V6, you'd need the later. So, you could, in theory, junk yard a TBI unit off a 4.3L and buy the rest of the Howell kit. That would save you a couple hundred.

WebI replaced the whole line. 5/16 rubber at throttle body into 3/8 hard line going back to tank which then goes 1/4 rubber for a few inches.
