WebJul 12, 2005 · Don't worry about spinning the pushrod, -that's part of a hydraulic cam method. Just make sure that the pushrod is seated in the lifter and the rocker properly. When you tighten the rocker down to the feeler gauge, tighten it a little snugly (a little snugly!) and contunue to hold it with the spanner while you tighten the allen lock nut.
