WebFeb 14, 2016 · Feb 14, 2016. #1. Hi guys! I have a Seagate BUP Slim BK 1 TB external drive. It's like a couple of weeks old and was able to store all of my important files in it. Now just recently I reformatted my pc. After it was done, I hooked the Seagate disk up to my pc and I noticed it didn't make the usual sound when you connect a USB device. WebAlso, the usual USB icon in the lower right corner shows up and tells me that the drive is connected (it shows up as "Backup+ BK" when you move the mouse over it, which means that the computer is somewhat detecting it).
